🏈 Tackle Hunger – September 13th
On Friday, September 13th, the Wyoming Hunger Initiative, founded by First Lady Jennie Gordon, will join forces with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Ridley’s to host the Tackle Hunger Event—a statewide effort to fight food insecurity. Locally, Laramie Interfaith will help ensure that our neighbors have access to the meals and resources they need to thrive.
Interfaith’s September Impact
🥩 Field to Fork Donation – Nearly 400 lbs of ground beef was donated through Ivinson Memorial Hospital and the Wyoming Hunger Initiative’s Field to Fork program, keeping nutritious food on Interfaith’s pantry shelves.
🛠 Volunteer Power – On September 10th, volunteers from First Interstate Bank will improve Interfaith’s facility by completing fencing work, supported by a community service grant.
📦 Holiday Meal Box Program – Applications will open later this month, providing families with the means to celebrate the holidays with dignity and nourishment.
🏠 Housing Advocacy – Interfaith remains an active member of the Albany County Housing Coalition, working toward long-term solutions to the local housing shortage.
