What to do in case of an auto accident?
- Ensure Safety: If anyone is injured, provide first aid and call emergency services immediately.
- Exchange Information: Swap names, addresses, and insurance details with the other driver. Record important information, including:
- Date, time, and location of the accident
- Owner’s and driver’s details (if different)
- License numbers, witness names, and addresses
- File a Police Report: Report the accident to the nearest police station and cooperate fully with authorities. Do not admit fault or sign statements except with an authorized insurance representative.
Report to Your Agent: Contact your agent as soon as possible to report the claim.
